Shanghai Z H Sanctuary Restaurant in Springvale

Odd name I know. But Shanghai Sanctuary Restaurant is quite the hidden gem in Springvale.  It’s undergone some renovations and is looking a lot better than before – it used to be half bottle shop and half restaurant but now the restaurant seems to have expanded and they have new menus.   Having said that, don’t come here expecting fancy shanghai food.  It’s on par with Bob’s kitchen or Raramen but much less popular (who knows why… I guess there’s a lot of restaurants to choose from in Springvale)!  We go here quite often so no doubt I’ll add more photos to this post as time goes on.

This time we had the fried shanghai noodles, the pork and spinach wontons and hot and sour soup noodles.  I’d highly recommend the wontons – in fact I bought some frozen for the odd noodle soup dinner:) They have a lot to choose from with several types of wontons (chicken and prawn also available) and dumplings too.

They also sell a range of teas so their drinks menu is quite comprehensive – I’ve yet to try though.
